Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus's overall score of 74.6. The Xperia Z5 Premium is an older and heavier cellphone than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, but Sony made it somewhat thinner anyway. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little better processing power than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra GPU.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much better display than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, a little bigger display and way more pixels per screen inch. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a lot more MP back-facing camera and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

Motorola Moto G5 Plus counts with more memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a SD card slot that admits 72 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The Xperia Z5 Premium features just a little better battery duration than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G5 Plus. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save some money and buy the Moto G5 Plus, giving up some features and specs.
