Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 6 has an overall score of 76.5, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus's 74.6 overall score. Xiaomi Mi 6's construction is thinner but a little heavier than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, and both were released only a couple of months apart. The Xiaomi Mi 6 has a little sharper display than Motorola Moto G5 Plus. Both have a display with the same size, the same 1080 x 1920 resolution and a better number of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 features just a little better performance than Moto G5 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 has just a bit better battery performance than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 3350mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh. Xiaomi Mi 6 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, although it has a tinier sensor which provides a worse image and video quality and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photos, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same video definition and a same resolution back facing camera.
Although Xiaomi Mi 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G5 Plus. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 6, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G5 Plus, giving up some specifications.
