The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a bit better than the Moto G5 Plus, with a score of 76 against 74.6. Xiaomi Mi Note 2's construction is a little heavier but extremely thinner than the Moto G5 Plus, and both of them were only released with a few months difference. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a CPU that is just as good as the Motorola Moto G5 Plus one, because although the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Moto G5 Plus counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Moto G5 Plus also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density. Motorola Moto G5 Plus has a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a camera with a lot lower resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low-light images and videos and a bigger sensor.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a much longer battery performance than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G5 Plus. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Note 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G5 Plus, resigning some features and specifications.
