Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 is a bit better than Moto G50, with a score of 79.5 against 75.3. The Asus ROG Phone 8 body has the same thickness than the Moto G50, but it is heavier. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the newer 14 version while Moto G50 has Android 11 version.
Moto G50 has a very superior hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much sharper screen than Moto G50, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a quite bigger screen and a higher pixel count in each inch of display.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has slightly more memory to store more apps and games than Moto G50, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Moto G50, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and/or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a more mega pixels back-facing camera.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit better battery performance than Moto G50, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
