Motorola Moto G 5G has a general score of 81.5, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G50's 75.3 overall score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Moto G 5G has older 10 version and Motorola Moto G50 has Android 11 version. Despite being the best we are comparing here, we must highlight that it's also a somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier phone.
The Moto G 5G features a bit superior processing unit than Moto G50. They have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Moto G 5G features a brighter display than Motorola Moto G50, because it has a way higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little larger display and a greater screen density.
The Motorola Moto G50 has a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto G50 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Motorola Moto G 5G's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery duration in Moto G50.
The Motorola Moto G 5G takes better photographs and videos than Moto G50. Both of them have the same resolution back-facing camera and a F1.7 camera aperture.
