The Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is much better than the Moto G50's general score of 75.3. These phones use the same Android 11 OS. Although the Galaxy A42 and Moto G50 were only released 6 months apart, the Galaxy A42 body is just a bit thinner but a little bit heavier. The Galaxy A42 has just a little better performance than Moto G50. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 cpu cores.
Moto G50 and Galaxy A42 feature really similar displays, because although the Galaxy A42 has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen. Galaxy A42 has a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto G50, because although it has an external SD slot that holds 24 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A42's battery life is very similar to the Motorola Moto G50 one. Samsung Galaxy A42 features a better camera than Moto G50, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures in poorly lited environments, they both have a 48 mega pixels back-facing camera.
