Sony Xperia 1 is a bit better than the Moto G50, having an 82.6 score against 75.3. Despite of the fact that Sony Xperia 1 is older than Moto G50, it's design is a little lighter and just a bit thinner. Xperia 1 has a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Sony Xperia 1 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Moto G50, because although it has a back camera with a lot lower 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better captures and videos in low light environments.

The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Motorola Moto G50, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows 512 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Motorola Moto G50 features a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3330mAh.
