Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is much better than the Moto G50's score of 75.3. Although the Xiaomi Mi 8 is a lot older than the Moto G50, it's construction is just a bit lighter and thinner. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 8 has an older 10 version and Moto G50 has Android 11.

Xiaomi Mi 8 features a sharper screen than Moto G50, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels and a better display density. Xiaomi Mi 8 features just a little better processing power than Moto G50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has more RAM memory.

Xiaomi Mi 8 captures a bit better photos and videos than Moto G50, although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photography and videos and a way less mega-pixels camera. Xiaomi Mi 8 has just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Moto G50, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.

Motorola Moto G50 counts with a much longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
