Comparison review
HTC One M9 is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G5S Plus, with a 77.7 score against 74.8. HTC One M9's design is just a little bit lighter than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, but it is a bit thicker and was released many years before. HTC One M9 counts with a brighter screen than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a just a little better pixels count in each screen inch.
Moto G5S Plus has much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have an external memory slot that admits up to 128 GB, the Moto G5S Plus also has 64 GB internal storage. HTC One M9 has a little better performance than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an additional graphics co-processor.
The HTC One M9 has a little bit better camera than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the HTC One M9 also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera. The Moto G5S Plus has a bit superior battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
The HTC One M9 costs more than Moto G5S Plus, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
