HTC U11 is a little bit better than Moto G5S Plus, getting a overall score of 77.6 against 74.8. Even though HTC U11 and the Moto G5S Plus were released only a few months apart, HTC U11's design is thinner but also a little bit heavier than the Moto G5S Plus. The HTC U11 has a bit sharper screen than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have a display of the same size, the HTC U11 also has a higher screen density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
HTC U11 has a little bit better processing power than Moto G5S Plus. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. The HTC U11 features a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a back facing camera with less megapixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography and video.
HTC U11's storage for games and applications is very similar to Moto G5S Plus's one, both of them have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB and exactly the same internal storage. The HTC U11's battery lifetime is just as good as the battery lifetime in Motorola Moto G5S Plus.
Although HTC U11 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G5S Plus. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Moto G5S Plus, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
