Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 is slightly better than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, having a 77.4 score against 74.8. Although Huawei Mate 8 is older and a little bit heavier than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, it's design is still somewhat thinner. The Motorola Moto G5S Plus features a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, the Motorola Moto G5S Plus also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Huawei Mate 8 has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 128 GB internal memory. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit better CPU than Motorola Moto G5S Plus. They have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
The Motorola Moto G5S Plus takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a camera in the back with lesser megapixels, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Motorola Moto G5S Plus also counts with a much better (4K) video quality. The Huawei Mate 8 features greater battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, because it has a 33 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto G5S Plus. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 8, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto G5S Plus, resigning a couple specs and features.
