The Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto G5S Plus's 74.8 overall score. Galaxy Alpha is a a lot thinner and incredibly lighter phone than the Motorola Moto G5S Plus. Galaxy Alpha has a little faster processing unit than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a lower number of cores and less RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.

The Galaxy Alpha features a little sharper screen than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, although it has a way worse 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, a bit smaller screen and a bit lower screen density. The Moto G5S Plus has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and more internal storage capacity.

Motorola Moto G5S Plus captures slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video quality, the Motorola Moto G5S Plus also has a back-facing camera with more MP and a larger aperture for better captures and video in low-light environments.
