Galaxy Note8 has a bit better screen than Moto G5S Plus, because it has a better pixels density, a little bigger screen and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Galaxy Note8 features a slightly better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a back-facing camera with less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture. The Galaxy Note8 has a little better battery performance than Moto G5S Plus, because it has a 10% bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G5S Plus. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Moto G5S Plus, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
