Samsung Galaxy S9 has a score of 83.3, which is much better than the Motorola Moto G5S Plus's 74.8 score. Samsung Galaxy S9 is a thinner and a little lighter device than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, even though both of them were released only 8 months apart. Samsung Galaxy S9 features a much better looking screen than Moto G5S Plus, because it has a better amount of pixels per display inch, a little bit bigger display and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px.
The Galaxy S9 has a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G5S Plus. They have 8 processing cores and 4 GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a better storage capacity for apps and games than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
Galaxy S9 features a little bit better camera than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a lower (4K) video quality and a lesser mega-pixels camera, it also counts with a much larger aperture for better photos in low-light situations. Galaxy S9 features a battery life that is very similar to the battery performance in Moto G5S Plus.
Samsung Galaxy S9 costs a little more than Moto G5S Plus, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
