Sony Xperia 1 is better than Moto G5S Plus, getting an 82.6 score against 74.8. Even though the Sony Xperia 1 is just a bit heavier than the Moto G5S Plus, it's thinner and newer. The Sony Xperia 1 has a brighter display than Moto G5S Plus, because it has way more pixels per inch in the screen, a much higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a bigger display.

Xperia 1 counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G5S Plus, because it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Sony Xperia 1 features a little bit better hardware performance than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM.
