Comparison review

Xperia XZs has a general score of 77.2, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto G5S Plus's 74.8 overall score. Even when the Xperia XZs and the Motorola Moto G5S Plus were only released 4 months apart, the Xperia XZs is thinner and a bit lighter. Xperia XZs has a little bit better looking display than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xperia XZs also counts with a just a bit better display pixels density.

The Motorola Moto G5S Plus has more storage to install applications and games than Xperia XZs, because although it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage. Moto G5S Plus has a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia XZs, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Moto G5S Plus also has more processing cores (although they are slower).

Xperia XZs captures way better pictures and videos than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same aperture, the Xperia XZs also has a back facing camera with way more MP and better 960 frames per second video frame rate. The Moto G5S Plus has just a little better battery life than Xperia XZs, because it has a 3 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia XZs is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G5S Plus. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZs, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G5S Plus, giving up a couple specifications.
