Comparison review

Xperia Z4v has a general score of 78.8, which is a bit better than Moto G5S Plus's global score of 74.8. Even though the Xperia Z4v is way older than the Moto G5S Plus, it's construction is just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter. The Sony Xperia Z4v counts with a little better processing power than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with an additional graphics processor.

Xperia Z4v has an incredibly better looking screen than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and more pixels per inch of screen. Sony Xperia Z4v takes just a bit better videos and photos than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, a same size camera aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z4v also has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.

The Motorola Moto G5S Plus has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z4v, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 128 GB, the Motorola Moto G5S Plus also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia Z4v's battery life is very similar to Moto G5S Plus's battery lifetime.

Although Xperia Z4v is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G5S Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia Z4v, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G5S Plus, resigning a couple specifications.
