Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G5S Plus, getting a general score of 77.6 against 74.8. Sony Xperia Z5's design is noticeably thinner and a little bit lighter than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, although it was released around a year before. The Sony Xperia Z5 has just a little better processing power than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

Sony Xperia Z5 features a better looking display than Moto G5S Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Moto G5S Plus counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

The Xperia Z5 has a much better camera than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 also has a lot higher 23 MP resolution back-facing camera and a bigger camera aperture. Motorola Moto G5S Plus features a bit longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3% greater battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G5S Plus. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G5S Plus, giving up some features and specifications.
