Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G5S Plus, having a score of 77.5 against 74.8. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's design is thinner but heavier than the Motorola Moto G5S Plus, and they were released only a few months apart. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's processing unit is just as good as Motorola Moto G5S Plus's processor, both of them have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Moto G5S Plus has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Moto G5S Plus also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch. Moto G5S Plus and Xiaomi Mi Max 2 feature similar cameras, although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a smaller aperture, a lesser MP camera in the back and a worse (4K) video definition.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has much more storage for applications and games than Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a really longer battery life than Moto G5S Plus, because it has a 77 percent greater battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G5S Plus. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Max 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto G5S Plus, letting go a couple features and specifications.
