Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is slightly better than Moto G5S Plus, having a 76.6 score against 74.8. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a screen that is just as good as the Moto G5S Plus one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a little bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a bigger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has as much storage capacity for games and applications as Motorola Moto G5S Plus, they have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a superior battery life than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, because it has a 67% more battery size. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G5S Plus, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a bigger camera aperture to take better low light captures and a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G5S Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G5S Plus. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Motorola Moto G5S Plus, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
