The HTC One M9 has a global score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than Moto G6 Plus's 77.5 overall score. The HTC One M9 is an a lot older and somewhat thicker cellphone than Moto G6 Plus, but HTC was able to build it just a bit lighter anyway. The HTC One M9 counts with a more vivid display than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density.

The Moto G6 Plus features a much greater storage to store more apps and games than HTC One M9, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Moto G6 Plus also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. HTC One M9 counts with a bit faster CPU than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an extra graphics processor.

The HTC One M9 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a much tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a larger sensor capturing higher quality pictures and videos and a much higher 20 mega pixels resolution back camera.

Moto G6 Plus counts with just a little better battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
