The iPhone 8 Plus is way better than Moto G6, getting an 87.1 score against 72.1. IPhone 8 Plus's design is somewhat heavier but a bit thinner than Moto G6, and both of them were only released 7 months apart. Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a superior processing unit than Moto G6, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a 64 bits processor.
The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit sharper display than Motorola Moto G6, although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, a little smaller display and a just a bit lower screen density. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G6, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
IPhone 8 Plus captures a little bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G6, because although it has a smaller sensor, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, a same resolution back facing camera and the same (4K) video quality, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better video frame rate.
Moto G6 has a little longer battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has an 11% larger battery size.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G6. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Moto G6, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
