Comparison review
The Motorola Edge (2024) has a score of 78.5, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G6's 72.1 global score. Motorola Edge (2024)'s construction is much newer and a little bit thinner, but also a little heavier than Motorola Moto G6. The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a brighter display than Moto G6, because although it has a quite worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a larger screen.
Motorola Edge (2024) features much more storage for games and applications than Motorola Moto G6, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Moto G6 features a much faster CPU than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Motorola Edge (2024) shoots clearer videos and photos than Moto G6, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge (2024) also has a way larger camera sensor and a way more mega-pixels camera. Motorola Edge (2024) has a very superior battery duration than Motorola Moto G6, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Motorola Edge (2024) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Motorola Edge (2024), but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Motorola Moto G6, resigning a couple features and specifications.
