Comparison review

The Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is better than the Moto G6's 72.1 global score. Although the Xperia 1 is a bit heavier than Moto G6, it's just a little bit thinner and also newer. Xperia 1 counts with a much better display than Motorola Moto G6, because it has a quite larger display, a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot better number of pixels per inch of display.

The Xperia 1 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto G6, because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory. The Xperia 1 features just a bit better processing power than Moto G6, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Xperia 1 counts with a camera that is just as good as Motorola Moto G6's camera, because although the Xperia 1 has slower 24 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller sensor taking less light and washed colors, and they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 MP resolution and the same video definition, it also counts with a larger aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited situations.

The Xperia 1 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Moto G6, because it has a 3330mAh battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G6. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G6, giving up some features and specs.
