Xperia XZ2 Premium is better than Motorola Moto G6, getting an 82.2 score against 72.1. Xperia XZ2 Premium is better than Motorola Moto G6, it must be told that it's also a way heavier and a lot thicker cellphone. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G6, because it has a lot higher pixels density, a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a little bit larger display.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto G6, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit more powerful CPU than Moto G6, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a higher amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a bit better camera than Moto G6, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a much more MP back-facing camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.

So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Moto G6, resigning some features and specs.
