Comparison review

Xperia Z5 has an overall score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than the Moto G6's 72.1 global score. The Xperia Z5 is an extremely older cellphone than the Moto G6, but Sony managed to build it just a little lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Xperia Z5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Moto G6, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia Z5 also has an extra graphics processor.

The Sony Xperia Z5 features a better looking display than Moto G6, although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, they both have the same screen pixels density. Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a slightly better memory for games and applications than Moto G6, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 200 GB.

Moto G6 has just a bit better battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh. Xperia Z5 features a slightly better camera than Moto G6, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same camera aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 also has a lot better resolution camera and a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G6. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia Z5, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Moto G6, resigning some features and specifications.
