LG V40 ThinQ has a global score of 81.2, which is better than Moto G7 Play's 70.9 global score. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the LG V40 ThinQ has 10 version while Moto G7 Play has Android 9.0 Pie version. The LG V40 ThinQ construction is just a little thinner but just a little bit heavier than Moto G7 Play, and both were released only a few months apart.

LG V40 ThinQ has a way better display than Moto G7 Play, because it has a much better 1440 x 3120 resolution, a way higher display pixel density and a little larger display. LG V40 ThinQ has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G7 Play, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto G7 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM memory. LG V40 ThinQ has a little better battery duration than Moto G7 Play, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.

LG V40 ThinQ features just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G7 Play, because although it has a worse video definition and a lower resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality and a much bigger aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited environments.

LG V40 ThinQ is a little more expensive than Moto G7 Play, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
