The Moto G7 Plus has an overall score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than the LG G5's score of 76.1. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Moto G7 Plus has an older 10 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though Moto G7 Plus is incredibly newer than the LG G5, it is just a bit heavier and thicker.
The LG G5 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Moto G7 Plus, although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), they both have the same RAM memory amount. The LG G5 features just a bit better display than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a better pixels density.
The Moto G7 Plus shoots clearer photos and videos than LG G5, and although they both have the same sensor size, the same (4K) video quality, a 16 MP resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rate, the Moto G7 Plus also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited environments.
LG G5 counts with slightly more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Moto G7 Plus counts with just a bit longer battery duration than LG G5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
