Motorola Edge 40 Neo is a bit better than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, with a 77 score against 76.1. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo design is a lot newer, a little lighter and just a bit thinner than the Motorola Moto G7 Plus. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a more recent 13 version and Motorola Moto G7 Plus has Android 10 version, providing the user some additional features.

Moto G7 Plus has a much powerful processor than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with a better looking screen than Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have a better amount of pixels per inch of display, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also has a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger screen.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo takes much clearer pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo also counts with a back camera with a way better 50 megapixels resolution and a much larger sensor providing a lot better image quality.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a really longer battery life than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
