Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a global score of 80.2, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G7 Plus's global score of 76.1. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 is an extremely older device than the Motorola Moto G7 Plus, but it is a bit lighter and a little bit thinner anyway. Galaxy Note5 features a little faster CPU than Motorola Moto G7 Plus. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Note5 counts with a little more vivid screen than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Motorola Moto G7 Plus has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a back-facing camera with a 16 mega pixels, the same sensor size and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus also has a bigger aperture for better photography and video in low-light environments.

Moto G7 Plus has a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Moto G7 Plus also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G7 Plus and the Galaxy Note5 have quite similar battery durations.
