The Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is just a bit better than Moto G7 Plus's overall score of 76.1. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Moto G7 Plus has Android 10, so it gives a lot of extra features. The Galaxy Note8 is an older, just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier cellphone than the Moto G7 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better processing power than Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Note8 has a little sharper screen than Moto G7 Plus, because it has a little bigger screen, a greater pixel number per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
