The Galaxy S8 is slightly better than Moto G7 Plus, with a overall score of 81.7 against 76.1. The Galaxy S8 design is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than Moto G7 Plus, despite of the fact that it was released a bit more more than a year before. The Galaxy S8 features a little faster processor than Moto G7 Plus. They have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a better screen than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a better pixels number per screen inch. Motorola Moto G7 Plus features just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB.
Moto G7 Plus captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have a F1.7 aperture, the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Moto G7 Plus also counts with a way better resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features a battery performance that is just as good as the battery duration in Moto G7 Plus.
