Sony Xperia 1 II has an overall score of 91, which is better than the Motorola Moto G7 Plus's 76.1 overall score. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia 1 II has the newer 11 version and Motorola Moto G7 Plus has Android 10 version. Sony Xperia 1 II's design is newer and a little thinner than the Motorola Moto G7 Plus's, although it's a little bit heavier.

The Xperia 1 II has a much better display than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because it has a lot greater pixel amount per inch in the display, a little bigger screen and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px. The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1000 GB.

The Xperia 1 II has a bit better performance than Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 II also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Xperia 1 II shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a lot less megapixels resolution camera and a worse (4K) video quality, and they both have a same size aperture, the Xperia 1 II also counts with a lot larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Sony Xperia 1 II features greater battery lifetime than Moto G7 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
