The Xperia XA2 Plus has a score of 78.6, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G7 Plus's global score of 76.1. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia XA2 Plus has 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto G7 Plus has Android 10 version, so it counts with lots of additional features and some performance improvements. Even being the best in this review, Xperia XA2 Plus is a somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier device than the Motorola Moto G7 Plus.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a little sharper display than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, although it has a little bit lower pixels density, a quite smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160. Moto G7 Plus counts with a bit bigger memory to install applications and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto G7 Plus also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

Xperia XA2 Plus features a little bit better performance than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has more RAM. The Xperia XA2 Plus shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a bigger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a back facing camera with way more megapixels.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has greater battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity.
