Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the Moto G7 Plus's 76.1 general score. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is notably heavier and much thicker than the Moto G7 Plus. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little faster processing unit than Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixels amount per inch in the screen and a much higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Moto G7 Plus counts with a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G7 Plus also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium has greater battery life than Moto G7 Plus, because it has a 3540mAh battery size.
