Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the Moto G7 Plus's 76.1 general score. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is notably heavier and much thicker than the Moto G7 Plus. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little faster processing unit than Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Moto G7 Plus counts with a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G7 Plus also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium has greater battery life than Moto G7 Plus, because it has a 3540mAh battery size.
