Sony Xperia Z3 is a bit better than Moto G7 Plus, having a global score of 77.3 against 76.1. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Z3 has 4.4.4 version and Moto G7 Plus has Android 10 version, counting with a couple additional features. Sony Xperia Z3 is a much older and just a little thicker phone than the Moto G7 Plus, but Sony managed to build it a little bit lighter anyway.

Xperia Z3 has a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has an inferior number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Sony Xperia Z3 has a much sharper screen than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater quantity of pixels in each inch of display.

The Motorola Moto G7 Plus features a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z3, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia Z3 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega pixels and a larger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality photos and videos.

The Xperia Z3 has a bit longer battery life than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
