The Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is much better than the Motorola Moto G7 Power's 72.6 overall score. Both phones we are comparing use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide the user the same OS features. The Huawei Mate X body is newer than Motorola Moto G7 Power's, but it is somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a sharper screen than Moto G7 Power, because it has a way higher resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels, a bigger display and a greater pixels count per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate X has a bit superior processor than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Motorola Moto G7 Power takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way smaller sensor offering a much lower image quality, a back facing camera with a lot worse 12 MP resolution and a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations.
Huawei Mate X has a much greater memory for applications and games than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 480 GB more internal memory. Moto G7 Power features a little longer battery duration than Huawei Mate X, because it has an 11% greater battery size.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G7 Power. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save some money and get the Moto G7 Power, letting go a couple features and specifications.
