Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a global score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than Moto G7 Power's 72.6 general score. Although Motorola Moto Z2 Play is older than the Moto G7 Power, it's construction is noticeably thinner and much lighter. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play features a bit more powerful processor than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has 1 GB more RAM memory.

Moto Z2 Play features a little bit better display than Moto G7 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and more pixels per inch in the screen. Motorola Moto Z2 Play features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G7 Power, because it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal storage.

Moto Z2 Play's camera is very similar to Motorola Moto G7 Power's camera, and although the Moto Z2 Play has a larger aperture, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a camera in the back with a 12 mega-pixels and the same (4K) video resolution. The Moto G7 Power has a way better battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.

Although Moto Z2 Play is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G7 Power. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Moto Z2 Play, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G7 Power, letting go some specifications.
