Galaxy J8 is a bit better than Motorola Moto G7 Power, getting a 76.7 score against 72.6. Galaxy J8's design is somewhat thinner and lighter than Motorola Moto G7 Power, although they were released only a couple months apart. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy J8 has the older 10 version while Motorola Moto G7 Power has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Moto G7 Power features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy J8, because it has a just a little higher display pixels density, a little bigger screen and a little higher resolution of 720 x 1570px. The Samsung Galaxy J8 features a slightly better storage to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has an external memory card slot that holds 256 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The Moto G7 Power and the Galaxy J8 both have really similar processors, and although the Galaxy J8 has 1 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Galaxy J8's camera is just as good as the camera in Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although the Galaxy J8 has a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality, a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light captures and videos and a back facing camera with a lot higher 16 MP resolution, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition.
Motorola Moto G7 Power features a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
