Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M40 is much better than the Moto G7 Power, getting a overall score of 85 against 72.6. Although Samsung Galaxy M40 and the Moto G7 Power were released with only a few months difference, Samsung Galaxy M40 is lighter and thinner. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M40 has older 10 version and Moto G7 Power has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features a more vivid screen than Moto G7 Power, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a little bit larger display and a greater pixel number per screen inch. Galaxy M40 counts with a bit superior CPU than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy M40 also has 3 GB more RAM.
Galaxy M40 features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 128 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy M40 has a much better camera than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a much better 32 MP resolution camera, a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture.
Moto G7 Power features a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 43% more battery size.
