Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is better than Moto G7 Power's 72.6 score. Both of these phones have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so both of them should offer very similar OS features. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an older cellphone than Moto G7 Power, but it is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner anyway.

The Galaxy Note8 has a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM. The Galaxy Note8 has a brighter display than Moto G7 Power, because it has a way higher display pixel density, a little larger screen and a lot better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Note8 features slightly more memory for applications and games than Moto G7 Power, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Motorola Moto G7 Power features a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Note8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

Galaxy Note8 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same video quality, the Galaxy Note8 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images and videos and a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G7 Power. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Moto G7 Power, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
