The Galaxy S8 has a global score of 81.7, which is better than Moto G7 Power's overall score of 72.6. The Galaxy S8 design is incredibly lighter and thinner than the Moto G7 Power, even though it was released about a year before. Galaxy S8 counts with an incredibly better display than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a lot more pixels per display inch.

Galaxy S8 has a little bit better storage for apps and games than Moto G7 Power, because although it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy S8 has just a little better performance than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S8 also has more RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 captures clearer videos and photos than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (4K) video resolution and a 12 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a larger aperture for better low-light captures and videos and a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures.

Moto G7 Power counts with a way better battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Galaxy S8 is more expensive than Moto G7 Power, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
