Comparison review

Sony Xperia 1 is better than Moto G7 Power, having an 82.6 score against 72.6. The Sony Xperia 1 is a thinner and somewhat lighter cellphone than Moto G7 Power, even though both of them were released only 4 months apart. The Xperia 1 has a bit more powerful processor than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 also has more RAM memory.

Xperia 1 features a way better display than Moto G7 Power, because it has a quite bigger screen, a lot more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Sony Xperia 1 features a superior memory for games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 128 GB internal memory.

The Motorola Moto G7 Power counts with a much longer battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. The Sony Xperia 1 features a little bit better camera than Moto G7 Power, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a 12 mega pixels resolution back facing camera, the Sony Xperia 1 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture to take better low light photos and videos.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G7 Power. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Moto G7 Power, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
