Sony Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is a lot better than Moto G7 Power's global score of 72.6. The Sony Xperia 1 III body is notably newer, just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Moto G7 Power. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia 1 III has 11 version while Moto G7 Power has Android 9.0 Pie.

Xperia 1 III counts with a little faster processor than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM. Xperia 1 III has an incredibly better display than Moto G7 Power, because it has a way better count of pixels per inch of display, a way better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a little bit bigger screen.

Xperia 1 III has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G7 Power, because it has 224 GB more internal memory and an external memory card slot that admits up to 1 TB. Xperia 1 III captures much better videos and photos than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same video quality and the same resolution camera, the Xperia 1 III also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light photos and video, faster video frame rates and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a much higher photo and video quality.

The Moto G7 Power features just a bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia 1 III, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.

Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto G7 Power. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto G7 Power, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
