The Xperia 1 VI is better than the Moto G7 Power, with an 83.2 score against 72.6. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 VI has the older 14 version and Moto G7 Power has Android 9.0 Pie. The Xperia 1 VI construction is much lighter and notably thinner than Moto G7 Power.
Xperia 1 VI has a sharper display than Moto G7 Power, because it has a little bit bigger display, a way greater screen pixel density and a way higher 1644 x 3840px resolution. Motorola Moto G7 Power has a much greater performance than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xperia 1 VI has a lot better camera than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia 1 VI also has better 120 frames per second video frame rate, a way better resolution back-facing camera, a much larger sensor capturing way higher quality photos and a bigger aperture.
The Xperia 1 VI features a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia 1 VI features a battery life that is just as good as the battery duration in Motorola Moto G7 Power.
