The Xperia 5 II has a global score of 87.2, which is a lot better than Moto G7 Power's 72.6 general score. Xperia 5 II is a newer cellphone, and it is also somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Moto G7 Power. Sony Xperia 5 II features a little bit better processing power than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has 5 GB more RAM memory.

Sony Xperia 5 II features a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixels amount per inch in the display and a way better 1080 x 2520 resolution. The Xperia 5 II shoots much clearer videos and photos than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a camera with a 12 megapixels and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia 5 II also has a bigger aperture for better low light photos and video, better 120 fps video frame rate and a way larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.

Xperia 5 II has a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola Moto G7 Power features superior battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G7 Power. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5 II, else you can save some dollars and get the Moto G7 Power, giving up some features and specs.
