Sony Xperia Z3 has an overall score of 77.3, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G7 Power's 72.6 general score. Both devices in this comparison review have Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia Z3 has the previous 4.4.4 version while Motorola Moto G7 Power has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Sony Xperia Z3 construction is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than the Motorola Moto G7 Power, despite of the fact that it was released 5 years before.

The Xperia Z3 features a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a better 1920 x 1080 resolution. Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a bit better performance than Moto G7 Power, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

Motorola Moto G7 Power features a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z3, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto G7 Power also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Sony Xperia Z3 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z3 also has a way larger sensor providing a lot better image quality and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.

Moto G7 Power features a superior battery duration than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has a 56 percent greater battery size.

Sony Xperia Z3 is more expensive than the Moto G7 Power, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
