Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 has a general score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G7 Power's 72.6 general score. Xperia Z5's design is thinner and extremely lighter than the Motorola Moto G7 Power, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Z5 has older 5.1 version while Motorola Moto G7 Power has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Xperia Z5 features a bit superior processing unit than Moto G7 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia Z5 also has a graphics co-processor. Xperia Z5 counts with a much more vibrant display than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a lot more pixels per inch of screen.

Motorola Moto G7 Power features a greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G7 Power also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G7 Power has a very superior battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 72 percent larger battery size.

Xperia Z5 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also has a much higher resolution back camera, a bigger camera aperture for better low light photos and a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G7 Power. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Moto G7 Power, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
