Xperia Z5 Premium is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G7 Power, having a 79.8 score against 72.6. Xperia Z5 Premium is an noticeably older cellphone than Motorola Moto G7 Power, but it's a bit lighter and thinner anyway. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version and Motorola Moto G7 Power has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G7 Power, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a much better screen density. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit superior processing unit than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a graphics processor.

The Motorola Moto G7 Power counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto G7 Power also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Xperia Z5 Premium takes better videos and photos than Motorola Moto G7 Power, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a much more mega-pixels back facing camera, a much larger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better captures in low-light environments.

Moto G7 Power has a much longer battery life than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 46% greater battery capacity.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G7 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G7 Power. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G7 Power, letting go a couple features and specifications.
