Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone is a little bit better than Moto G7, getting a 77.1 score against 75.2. The Asus ROG Phone is a heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone than the Moto G7. Asus ROG Phone features a little sharper display than Moto G7, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a little worse display density.
Asus ROG Phone has a bit more powerful processor than Motorola Moto G7, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM memory. The Moto G7 features a greater camera than Asus ROG Phone, although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Asus ROG Phone features a much bigger storage for apps and games than Motorola Moto G7, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone has improved battery performance than Moto G7, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto G7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Asus ROG Phone, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Motorola Moto G7, letting go some specs and features.
